To increase the world’s attention to solar energy as a source for heating and cooling, the IEA Solar Heating and Cooling Programme presents a SHC SOLAR AWARD to recognize the work of those contributing to the expansion of this renewable energy resource. The winner of the SHC SOLAR AWARD will receive a trophy and diploma to recognize their outstanding contributions in the solar field with connections to work of the Solar Heating & Cooling Implementing Agreement. The prize winner will have shown outstanding leadership or achievements, with links to the IEA Solar Heating and Cooling Programme, in the field of solar energy at the international level within one or more of the following sectors: Technical developments Successful market activities Information Nominations are welcome from members of the solar community, and should be submitted to the SHC Executive Committee member from your country. 2006 Call for Nominations This is just an example.
