EVALUATION OF TASK 13 HOUSES

» Description / Aim

Within the IEA Solar Heating and Cooling Programme Task 13 - Advances Solar Low Energy Houses resulted in 14 demonstration projects constructed in 12 countries.

The evaluation of only one project was finished before the final report was published. Therefore working group will aim on a evaluation report presenting the results of most of the projects. The target group for this technical report is an audience interested in the outcome of the evaluations like architects, researchers, consultants.

» Objectives

Report on the evaluation results including lessons learned of the Task 13 - Advanced Solar Low Energy Houses, based on a survey of existing national information that is available and accessible. This report will have the status of a working document or an official Technical IEA report.

A. GOALS

The objective of the report is to:

• Make evaluation results per project available
• Give an overview of the results with general conclusions
• Present lessons learned

B. TARGET AUDIENCE

The final report will be of interest for:

• Architects
• Consultants
• Researchers

C. MARKETING AND DISTRIBUTION

The workgroup aims at a technical IEA report with:

• Marketing and distribution will preferably be provided by a publisher

The report can be regarded as a sequel to the report which presents the various Task 13 projects together with an overview of strategies and innovative technologies.
