Greenhouse Gas Programme
IEA GHG is an Implementing Agreement of the International Energy
Agency, and was founded in 1991. It is a major international
research collaboration that assesses technologies capable of
achieving deep reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. The
website is designed to provide details about IEA GHG, what our
main activities are and the conferences we organise. In
addition, it provides reference material on issues such as
climate change and the need for emission reduction which
underpins our continued existence.

Solar Power and Chemical Energy Storage System (SolarPACES)
Since 1977, one program of the International Energy Agency has focused
exclusively on the development of solar thermal power and, later,
also solar chemical energy systems. Known since 1991 as the SolarPACES
Program, it brings together research teams and industry
partners from around the world to collaborate on technology development.
