Solar Industry

There are approximately 150 manufacturers of solar heating plants in Europe.

One large part of the industries are smaller producers.

However, with the fast-growing market, especially in Germany, a development towards larger investments in modern production facilities have been seen for a number of companies.

Furthermore, it has been seen that a number of major producers of heating equipment have taken solar heating on their programme.

The solar heating industry was earlier organised in 2 organisations ESIF and ASTIG, which from 1st of January 2003 merged into one organisation ESTIF.
