There is an increased tendency for tourists to demand a "sustainable holiday". An inexpensive holiday is not satisfactory if the environment is suffering due to for instance a huge energy consumption at a hotel, holiday house etc. For these customers it can be seen as a positive sign if the hotel uses penetrating solar heating - which is a sustainable idea in itself, but more importantly, it sends the message to tourists that we care about the environment as you would and you can enjoy your vacation here with a good conscience.
