May 2005
The Task will issue a book called Advanced storate concepts... State of the art during Autumn 2005. The draft versions are being revised. More than 10 authors and some outside the Task have contributed. Concerning the new storage concepts to be compared in the Task, the number of projects that the Task will analyse might be smaller than anticipated due to budget restrictions in some participating countries, and to difficulty in setting up new storage units based on material that are insufficiently mastered (zeolite for example).

December 2004
The work is in progress as planned. The platform of information exchange on new storage technologies for low energy houses is working ! This site has a number of internal presentations and reports with limited access to participants. France and Spain are joining. A cooperation with Slovenia might take place too.

November 2004
A second draft of the storage handbook is available. Due date for the final text: January 2005, since contributions from author outside the Task has been wished.

April 2004
Participants in the Task is writing a state-of-the-art handbook about thermal storage for solar houses, expected due date for the final version: June 30, 2004.

March 2004
Some participants in the Task entered an Expression of Interest to the FP6 EU programme.

July 2003
The Task started, gathering the information on projects with advanced storage concepts. Comparison methodology was defined, and the work on common reference conditions started.
