» IEA Launches Climate Change And
Renewable Energy Websites
Today the IEA announced the release of two interactive
databases, one on climate policies, and the other on renewable energy
policies. These are the result of work undertaken in both the Standing
Group on Long Term Co-operation and Renewable Energy Working Party
and reflect on the extensive effort underway in member countries
to address these issues. The websites provide zero-cost, user-friendly
access to the databases.

“Dealing with Climate Change” site features 800 records collected
between 1999 and 2002 on energy-related policies and measures taken
or planned by the IEA’s 26 Member countries.
