The aim of the meeting will be to present the progress of Task 62 and highlights from Subtasks A, B and C as well as discuss and work out next steps and further contribution within upcoming topics in each Subtask. Workshops on specific topics will support on future collaboration within Task 62. Presentations about highlights and progress will include following topics (considering contribution from participants):
• Subtask A: Specification of system design and key performance indicators as basis for comparative simulation studies as well as on-goings on the matrix for defining industrial separation demands + upcoming topic
• Subtask B: Report on existing solar based technologies applied to industrial water decontamination and disinfection (real and research cases) as well as on-goings on technological, economic and political barriers + upcoming topics in 2020
• Subtask C: Report on technologies to be considered for guidelines as well as on-goings on reporting about up-to-date applications on water-energy nexus in industry+ upcoming topics in 2020
By taking into consideration the impact of COVID-19 on international travel the upcoming 5th Expert meeting will be an online meeting.
