  • IEA Greenhouse Gas Programme
IEA GHG is an Implementing Agreement of the International Energy Agency, and was founded in 1991. It is a major international research collaboration that assesses technologies capable of achieving deep reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. The website is designed to provide details about IEA GHG, what our main activities are and the conferences we organise. In addition, it provides reference material on issues such as climate change and the need for emission reduction which underpins our continued existence.
  • IEA Buildings and Community Systems (ECBCS)
This site is maintained by the Air Infiltration and Ventilation Centre (AIVC) in England, and includes references to its own Research Annexes.
  • IEA Demand Side Management (IEA DSM)
The International Energy Agency Demand-Side Management Programme works to clarify and promote opportunities for Demand-Side Management (DSM), including load management and strategic conservation.
  • IEA District Heating & Cooling
District Heating and Cooling (DHC) has proven to be a major contributor to Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reduction in many member countries and recognition of DHC's importance is growing.
  • IEA Energy Conservation through Energy Storage
The R&D programme Efficient Energy End-Use Technologies contains 14 different IAs of which one is the IA on energy storage. The full name of this IA is Energy Conservation though Energy Storage (ECES IA).
  • IEA Heat Pump Centre (HPC)
The International Energy Agency's information centre for heat pumping technologies, applications and markets. The HPC operates worldwide via a network of national teams in its member countries. The HPC is the IEA Information Centre at the heart of the IEA Heat Pump Programme (HPP).
  • IEA Photovoltaic Power Systems Programme
The Photovoltaic Power Systems Programme is a collaborative R&D Agreement, established within the International Energy Agency, and conducting projects on the application of solar photovoltaic electricity.
  • IEA Solar Power and Chemical Energy Storage System (SolarPACES)
Since 1977, one program of the International Energy Agency has focused exclusively on the development of solar thermal power and, later, also solar chemical energy systems. Known since 1991 as the SolarPACES Program, it brings together research teams and industry partners from around the world to collaborate on technology development.
